Hello to everyone, this is Gabriela from Ibaraki.

Last year at FAB4 I had the first contact on this challenging but not yet properly charted area. Hopefully the journey leads us to new frontiers, nobody has gone before.

I am interested in sounds and what they do to our brains and ears!

Nice to see you soon at FAB5.

Welcome back Gabriela!

Yes, as with my beloved Star Trek, the brain is also often called the final frontier.

Odd though, when you think about it..., all teachers, parents, and students, should make brain studies center stage -- but they don't. No wonder why we have so many die-hard neuromyths, and bizarre teaching methods out there!

What makes sound/audio studies so interesting for you?

Looking forward to catching up with you!

Hi Gabriela

Glad to cyber-know you here.
We can meet in person soon^^
As far as I know, the nerve system for sound is not fully connected.
When sounds touch our ear-drum it goes through a tiny space in our inner ear system,
so I feel dealing with sound is more difficult than dealing with something written.
Talking about our brain(this is also something invisible) is always fun for me^^~
